Dr. Kenneth L. Weiss, MD is the Founder and CEO of ABSIST LLC and its ImagiCenter® venture. Harvard, Michigan, Stanford, and Ohio State University trained; Dr. Weiss is a National Merit and John Harvard Scholar, world-renowned academic neuroradiologist, MRI expert, and visionary innovator with scores of peer-reviewed papers, international presentations, US patents, copyrights, and trademarks. Dr. Weiss serves as Medical Director of Akumin Aventura and maintains an academic appointment as Voluntary Professor of Radiology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.
Since 2008, Dr. Weiss has been granted eight US utility patents describing novel methods to auto-prescribe, analyze, reconstruct, label, localize, display, and guide multimodality medical imaging and intervention. Dr. Weiss is passionate about improving healthcare worldwide by providing innovative technologies that enable faster and more accurate personalized imaging; reducing time to diagnosis, time to treatment, and healthcare costs.
Jane L. Weiss, BSN, Paralegal is the CFO of ABSIST LLC and its ImagiCenter® venture. A Graduate of Grand Valley State University, the University of Cincinnati, and the University of Miami; she has been involved in global imaging research and development for over 20 years. Jane is certified in clinical research and regulatory affairs. She holds 27 state RN licenses and has authored numerous peer-reviewed medical publications. Currently, Jane is working at Wicker Smith O'Hara McCoy & Ford, PA in Coral Gables, Florida.
